At Tony’s, we prepare calamari in a unique way: the calamari are gently fried in a seasoned semolina flour, then tossed with pepperoncini and roasted baby tomatoes. Dip these babies in the accompanying roasted garlic aioli…crazy good.

Calamari, or squid, is a much loved food in the Mediterranean regions. Derived from the Latin word calamrium, meaning pen case, these delectable morsels are often fried. An interesting tip when preparing calamari: when frying, listen for a high-pitched sound. Once it reaches a low crescendo, you will know it’s done to perfection.
